Just after they made history as the first female K-Pop group to hold a stadium concert in the United States for the encore of the North American leg of their “III” World Tour, TWICE has finally made their in-person U.S. television debut by appearing in the famous late-night talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The 9-member group performed their first original English single and hit bop “The Feels” on May 18, 2022 at 11:35 P.M. ET (U.S. time), and is their second performance overall for the late-night show. Their first was a pre-recorded performance of “I Can’t Stop Me” back in 2020 for the “#PlayAtHome” series.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is famous for being a news/political satire kind of late-night talk show, and having TWICE perform on the show of course drew in a lot of memes from ONCES. Yes, the famous girl group’s performance really just became political, with the hashtag “#TWICE_SenatePrimaryFirstWin” trending on Twitter.

Here are some of the best Tweets we’ve seen.

TWICE is the Senate Slate we’ve always wanted and deserved. Yup, they’ll slay the Senate as always.
