In 2017, we celebrated the peoples’ stories in the hopes of sparking social change. Less than a year since then, change indeed has come, bringing forth onerous social realities, including even those once deemed inconceivable — a fresh set of alternative narratives waiting to be captured and told to a larger audience. With the medium of film as their arms and guide, Piling Obrang Vidyo yet again taps on our young filmmakers to become the couriers of these stories.
This coming 27th of January, join us in celebrating Philippine cinema’s thriving existence that celebrate the peoples’ narratives as POV brings you 21 short films from different colleges and universities.
