Following a slew of new music releases this year – including a remix from legendary drummer Travis Barker for his hit “Tati” – indie singer-songwriter Gavin Haley debuts his latest single, “idk where i’m at rn”. The release is the latest off Haley’s forthcoming project, due out later this year.
Out now via Red Bull Records, the emotionally charged single taps into the all-too-familiar feelings of uncertainty and disconnect in a relationship. Lamenting on his own fears and anxieties, “idk where i’m at rn” is a relatable showcase of vulnerability and doubt, translated through Haley’s nimble lyricism and melodic production.
The release of “idk where i’m at rn” also comes with the unveiling of its surreal music video. Directed by Jared Asher Harris and premiered by Alternative Press, the dreamlike visual shows Haley with his head in the clouds – literally – as he floats wistfully through the sky, traveling through cities, country highways, and raining avocados.
